MEET THE OWNERS
After working side by side for over 11 years, we knew it was time to create something of our own. THE MARK was born out of deep friendship, shared vision, and a passion for education and community.
Before opening our salon, we managed one of the city's most successful stylist education programs. Shantell spent 15+ years traveling across the country, teaching both fundamental and trend-forward haircutting techniques, and served as Director of Education at one of Las Vegas’ top salons for over 5 years. Alexis worked behind the scenes, recruiting, training, and mentoring up-and-coming stylists, helping them grow into confident professionals.
Together, we poured our knowledge, experience, and values into creating a space that’s grounded in education, friendship, and inclusivity—a salon that feels like home. Community is at the heart of everything we do. Our clients aren’t just appointments—they’re connections, conversations, and creative energy.
Now, after 14 years of friendship and collaboration, our once tiny two-chair studio grew into a four-chair space, and now into a 15 chair salon with an incredible team who share our values and commitment to top-tier service.
